A Dark & Moody Production

Okay, so, the Machinima section of Films & Videos is MOSTLY done. I need to do screenshot galleries (that may be done as a big epic Flash slideshow thingamajig), along with a page for the half-started projects such as The Spree, Killer Kim, and The Security Guard. Well, yeah, there is a Dead Run page that needs to be done. If I ever find the time to like, ya know, finish that dang flick. >_>

Work-wise, I’m going to HOPEFULLY have the NOBAS recut done by the end of the month. Opportunity is still set to get rolling. Test shoots and some coverage pick-ups will be snagged up in the coming weeks, getting the movie into motion with a proper start to shooting in August. I’m also getting back to the Three Bullets script, which hopefully will have a nice ‘n’ complete draft by the end of the year. Pity it’s gotten so out of hand. (if you know me, you’ll know that’s pretty common)

ALSO! I wanted to give special attention to my friend Vanessa, who has gotten her superawesome new website going! I highly recommend you check it out, tell her how awesome it is, and bookmark it in anticipation of her fantastic comic in the fantasy/adventure genre which, after having followed it for the last 5 years, I can say is shaping up amazingly!

I allowed things to get out of hand, life to take over, and well, for this blog to go unchecked and abandoned. Poor little bloggy.

So, Titus’ skateboarding video is done, Catatouille’s done, 3 Bullets is on hold, and Opportunity is hopefully gearing up this month. That’s what happened to the last post’s particulars.

Now, I’m working on a Fusic for The World’s Kitchen dealing with the process of making sushi (the California Roll specifically), as well as hopefully soon getting to finishing up a Baha’i thing. Also, I am getting this website in order so those who may want my services can take a look at it, gain a good sense of what I’m about, and maybe, oh, I dunno, hire me for some videowork? Maybe? ^_^

Anyway, expect to see the site’s links up on the upper right to be fleshed out a little more.

Ugh, lots of projects, goings on, my first “real job” (that didn’t last), way too much PS3/L4D time, writing like crazy, and trying to keep sane in this ever-changing world heading towards certain doom at the hands of The Tall Man/Bubba Ho-Tep/Cthulhu.

Not a whole lot going down, 3 Bullets is on hold while I get a short film done, a project for The World’s Kitchen is about done that I’ll be posting upon completion, and I’m apparently doing a skate video. So, yeah, new stuff. I also updated the website with some more information. 2009 is now in effect and it’s time to get things rolling with getting the good name of Dark & Moody Productions out there. (wait, there’s a name now?)

So here’s how the Line Up is going:

1. 3 BULLETS
   Draft 4 nearly complete, after that will be a long process of possibly rewriting it. Again. >_<
2. FLICK A WEEK: Opportunity
   Short film project, working with Phil (from NOBAS) on this one. Got the script done, we’re working out what to do about props, actor choices, etc. Should be done in April/May. Action packed, gritty, kind of like Dealers & Stealers in tone but going to be awesome instead of boring.
3. CATATOUILLE
   Almost done with this one. World’s Kitchen project. Silent Film-esque video, comedy.
4. SKATE VIDEO
   The first job introduced me to a dude named Titus. He wants me to make him a skate video, so I’ll do that in return for him being in Opportunity. It’s definitely something new for me.

Oh, and there was a 3 Bullets Diary Entry I forgot to mention around New Year’s Eve. That’s below the break.
